The French-American outfit sit second in the Teams' World Championship, with their double champion Jean-Eric Vergne steering to sixth, second and eighth in the opening three rounds from Mexico City and Diriyah and Season 8 champion Stoffel Vandoorne scoring twice.

The team went well in Brazil last year, with Vandoorne steering to Julius Baer Pole Position - the only pole of his title defence in Season 9. The Belgian rounded sixth in the race, with the Jaguar powertrains coming to the fore over the distance as they locked out a 1-2-3 on the podium. Vergne wound up fifth on the road at the chequered flag.

Current standings leader Nick Cassidy (Jaguar TCS Racing) recently called out the Stellantis-powered cars as 'underrated', with their performance outdoing the attention they're getting amid the Jaguar and Porsche powertrain chat.
In the gap between Diriyah and São Paulo, the team say they've been working 'tirelessly' to chase every point in the development work they've been doing and that could bode well, with Vandoorne eyeing silverware to make up for last year's miss from pole.
"I'm thrilled to be back in São Paulo and racing again in this iconic city," says the Belgin. "With the team, we worked very hard between Diriyah and here, I spent a lot of time in the simulator to find the right strategy with my new race engineer. Last year, I started on pole and it feels like I have unfinished business here - I'm super determined to deliver a strong race this Saturday!"
Vergne feels the team are on the right path at the moment. "We are on the right trajectory," he says. "I am pretty confident we can take a step forward, everyone in the team has one goal in mind, chasing these milliseconds to close the gap, I really want us to score as many poitst as we possibly can this weekend’.
