Standings leader Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-EQ) bounced back from a disappointing Round 14 on Saturday with the fastest time on the reversed, clockwise variant of the Berlin Tempelhof Street Circuit in Free Practice 1.
De Vries retired midway through race one in Berlin with a puncture, but managed to hold on to a slender advantage at the top of the Drivers' World Championship after Lucas di Grassi's race win on Saturday. He'll need to produce the goods from Group 1 in qualifying and will be encouraged as he went 0.125s clear of the next quickest driver in FP1; Antonio Felix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH).
Oliver Rowland (Nissan e.dams), Jean-Eric Vergne (DS TECHEETAH), Jake Dennis (BMW i Andretti Motorsport) and Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler's Lucas di Grassi rounded out the top six - more encouragement for the 2016/17 champion after he laid down a marker in race one at Tempelhof.
