Born in Tallinn, Estonia, Aron is no stranger to the European karting and single-seater scene. He began karting at eight years old in Estonia and quickly climbed the ladder to compete in events across the continent. His karting success culminated in winning the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship in 2018, which saw him impress enough to make the jump to single-seaters the following year.
His time in rising the motorsport ladder involved competing in various F4 championships, Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula Regional European Championship, and multiple Formula 3 tests. In 2023, he joined Prema for the F3 season which saw him claim third in the standings.
That speed in Formula 3 saw a jump up to Formula 2 for the following season, taking a drive with Hitech Pulse-Eight. He is currently second in the F2 standings, after claiming multiple podiums and has been the standout rookie of the season so far.
Aron will make his Formula E racing debut in Berlin this season, where he is set to replace Envision Racing’s Sébastien Buemi, who has FIA World Endurance Championship commitments during the E-Prix weekend. Aron has previously tested for the Season 9 Teams’ Championship winners in the Rookie Free Practice session ahead of the 2024 Misano E-Prix.
