Following Stoffel Vandoorne's ABB FIA Formula E World Championship win in the South Korean capital, we captured the best reactions from around the web.
Cruising to victory in Seoul's Olympic stadium, Vandoorne kept his cool as his closest competitor, Jaguar TCS Racing's Mitch Evans chased the Belgian into the final round of the season. Despite Evans best efforts, he filed to hold Vandoorne at bay. Scoring points in all but one race this season, Vandoorne was a worthy winner, following in the footsteps of his teammate and 2020/21 season champion Nyck de Vries.
Vandoorne's ruthless consistency over the course of the season was enough to ensure he took the Drivers' title, but also that Mercedes claimed its second Teams' Championship title in two years. Taking to Twitter to congratulate him was none other than 'The Flying Finn' and two time Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen. The Finnish driver won two consecutive Formula 1 Drivers' World Championship titles in 1998 and 1999 with McLaren.
Another name from Formula 1 to step into the frame just moments after Vandoorne took the title was two-time World Champion and current Alpine Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso. The Spanish driver took two consecutive Formula 1 Drivers' World Championship titles in 2005 and 2006 with Renault.
Outside of motorsport, it was fellow countryman and Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who rushed to post about Vandoorne's victory in the hours after his win.

Taking praise from the very top of Mercedes' motorsport empire, team boss Toto Wolff took to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team Twitter account to call out the exceptional work of the team and both it's drivers for a consecutive double Formula E World Championship win.
