The road to glory runs through London
As Season 11 came to a close, the FIA Girls on Track made its final stop in London, bringing even more girls closer to the heart of motorsport, one pit stop at a time.
The week began at City Hall on 15th July, where 90 young women took part in an inspiring career talk hosted in collaboration with the Greater London Authority. Women working across Event Management, Sustainability, and Communications within Formula E shared their personal insights, followed by confidence-building workshops designed to support early career development.
Then, on 25th July, the full trackside experience came to life. 120 girls aged 12 to 18 were welcomed at London ExCeL with hands-on workshops, garage tours, and exclusive access to the world of Formula E, like we always do. Highlights included building model race cars, learning about marshaling with BMMC, workshops from the programme's partners Hankook and Fortescue Zero, and sim racing in the reaction zone.
The participants were given even more access with surprise visits from Jamie Chadwick and Abbi Pulling, who shared invaluable advice and encouragement about diving into the industry. Also joining was Burcu Centikaya, Chair of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, alongside six FIA Esports Ambassadors.
Throughout the season, we have carried our initiatives around the world and we’re only just getting started in changing the future of motorsport.
Women within Formula E
Doctor Clare Morden has been an inspirational figure behind the scenes of glamorous motorsport events, one of the unsung heroes of the paddock, working tirelessly to ensure driver safety and operational excellence.
Originally working with the NHS, Dr. Morden couldn’t resist stepping into the motorsport world, combining her medical expertise with a lifelong passion for the sport.
Her presence in the Formula E paddock as an extrication doctor has been invaluable. She champions the belief that women can have it all, regardless of the high-pressure environments without feeling lesser than their male counterparts.

Formula E’s All Women Test extended to full day
In a major push for inclusion, Formula E will once again host a full-day, all-women official test at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit in October 2025. All 11 teams are required to include at least one female driver during two test sessions using the GEN3 Evo cars.
The series believes it’s an integral process of achieving long-term strategy in promoting diversity and equality in motorsport, with a continued focus on providing opportunities for the right talent.
We will be back next season!

Hello, and I hope you enjoy our final newsletter of the season! It honestly feels surreal writing this now that Season 11 is done and dusted. If you told me at the start of the year that I’d be there to witness both championship titles being sealed, I wouldn’t have believed you.
The season finale in London was everything: chaotic, exciting, and somehow emotional too. From jumping into media pens to meeting incredible people working behind the scenes, this experience has taken my love for motorsport to a whole new level.
I’m super grateful to the team for letting me grow as a journalist and showing me the other side of the paddock, where stories come alive. Time flies when you’re chasing drivers down for quotes and trying to remember where you put your media pass.
And if I’ve learned anything, it’s saying yes to every opportunity that comes your way, even the slightly scary ones. You might never know where it might lead.
Here’s to next season. Same time next year?
