Formula E celebrates 10 years of DHL and Julius Baer

DHL - Founding and Logistics Partner - alongside Julius Baer - Founding and Offical Partner - celebrated 10 years of partnership with Formula E at the Season 10 finale in London.

DHL is the Official Founding Partner and has been the Official Logistics Partner of the world’s first all-electric motorsport championship since September 2013, before converting the concept of all-electric racing into reality with the ABB FIA Formula E’s inaugural race in Beijing in 2014.

With more than four decades of global motorsport experience, DHL has been instrumental in delivering and growing the world's first all-electric motorsport championship, spanning 132 races across 33 cities in 24 countries.

The Official Founding Partner continues to play a vital role in bringing the championship to its near-400 million fans worldwide, allowing them to enjoy the thrill of e-vehicle motorsport, while also being pivotal in activations including FIA Girls on Track and environmental stewardship such as a beach clean-up in Jakarta and tree planting in multiple cities worldwide.

DHL and Formula E's partnership is leading example of sustainable and efficient collaboration not only in the automotive industry, but also in global sports. This partnership enhances the fan experience worldwide and sets an industry standard for environmental sustainability.

DHL offers multimodal transport solutions, including sea and road freight, to maximise efficiency. Additionally, from Season 7 to 10, Formula E has achieved a substantial reduction of greenhouse gas emissions utilising biofuels for road and sea freight. This year for the first time, Formula E piloted DHL’s GoGreen Plus service for aviation, which leverages Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), for two legs of this year’s Championship.

Once the dust settles on the final race weekend of Season 10 in London, DHL will have covered more than 98,000 kilometres, delivering 16 races in 10 iconic cities across the 10th season. This extensive journey involved the transportation of around 400 metric tonnes of crucial freight per race, including race cars, batteries, charging units, broadcast equipment, as well as marketing and hospitality materials.

10 years of Julius Baer x Formula E
