When it comes to scoring in Season 9, Jake Dennis has done this in style as all of the Avalanche Andretti driver's points have come from seven podium finishes - the most of any driver on the grid in 2023.

On top of this the Brit is on a run of form that has put him right back into the title fight, equalling a personal best of four podiums on the trot, with two of those coming in the Jakarta double-header.

The Jakarta double-header was a tale of two races for Mitch Evans, it hit a low point on day one as the New Zealander was taken out of points scoring position by Jaguar TCS Racing teammate Sam Bird on the Saturday.

A complete reset and overhaul of the settings saw Evans through to the Duels where he narrowly missed out on a front-row start, losing to Dennis by just 0.001s in the semi-final. In the race, the Jaguar driver then put a defensive run to the flag making his car like a "moving roadblock" as he described to hold off any challenges to register a third-place finish.
