Andre Lotterer (TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team) set the pace in Free Practice 1 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, with a 1m07.509s enough to fire two tenths of-a-second clear of Nissan e.dams' Sebastien Buemi and his Porsche teammate Pascal Wehrlein.
Twenty of the 22 drivers were within a second on the timesheets, with Lotterer's benchmark set inside the final five minutes of the session. He and Wehrlein had set the early pace, and as the circuit continued to clean and come to the drivers, the pair remained up top.
