Formula E is proud to announce a new partnership with China Duty Free Mall (CDF Mall) as an Official Partner of the 2026 Lianxin Sanya E-Prix, bringing together the world's premier all-electric racing championship with one of China's most iconic retail and tourism destinations.
Located in Haitang Bay, Sanya, China Duty Free Mall is operated by China Duty Free Group, a subsidiary of China Tourism Group, China's largest state-owned tourism enterprise. As the country's first AAAA-rated tourist attraction centred around duty-free retail, the destination combines world-class shopping, dining, entertainment, culture and leisure into a single integrated experience.
Spanning more than 265,000 square metres across its Phase I complex and the adjoining Yunjie Island commercial district, the destination features nearly 1,000 internationally renowned brands and dozens of flagship stores covering beauty, fashion, jewellery, watches, luggage, electronics, wines and spirits, and more. The recently opened Building C is the world's only standalone beauty plaza, housing innovative concept stores from leading global brands and delivering an exceptional luxury retail experience.
Through this partnership, Formula E and China Duty Free Mall will collaborate to showcase the excitement of electric motorsport while highlighting Sanya as a world-class destination for tourism, innovation and premium lifestyle experiences. Fans visiting the 2026 Lianxin Sanya E-Prix can expect engaging activations, including a Formula E showcar at the Central Plaza in front of Zone C of the CDF Shopping Complex until 17th June 2026. In addition, China Duty Free Mall will provide exclusive experiences and shopping benefits to fans throughout race week.
