Nico Müller was quickest of the pack in the final Monaco practice, going three-tenths clear of the grid with a time of 1m26.491s for Porsche. The Swiss driver will be looking to bounce back after a tough race yesterday, after making contact with his teammate and receiving a post-race penalty as a result.
Edoardo Mortara was second for Mahindra Racing, with Maximilian Guenther third for DS PENSKE and his teammate Taylor Barnard just behind in fourth. Mitch Evans was fifth for Jaguar TCS Racing, after having some technical gremlins at the start of the session.
It was a tricky start to the session for Mitch Evans of Jaguar TCS Racing, who had an issue early doors and meant his running time was limited. Fresh from a podium yesterday, Evans was able to get back out on track and managed to finish the session in fifth.
With 10 minutes to go, it was another Mahindra Racing 1-2 with yesterday’s race winner Nyck de Vries top with his teammate Edoardo Mortara in second.
Several drivers had lock ups, including both Jake Dennis (Andretti) and Sebastien Buemi (Envision) who went off at Turn 1 within a matter of seconds of one another as the session reached its end.
