It’s tee time in Monaco with drivers, professional golfers, influencers and members of the Formula E ecosystem, including Formula E co-founder and chairman, Alejandro Agag and Formula E Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Dodds taking part in the first-ever Monte-Carlo Tee Prix in support of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation, with 100% of proceeds raised through team entries going directly to support the foundation.
The Wednesday ahead of the Monaco E-Prix double-header provided perfect conditions, with players arriving in great spirits, some quietly confident of a good result and others just looking forward to a round of golf on the beautiful Monte-Carlo course. Jake Dennis, competing alongside teammate Felipe Drugovich in the Andretti quartet, jokingly referred to the competition as the “most important” one of the week.
Other drivers taking part in the day included Nyck de Vries, who joined his Mahindra Racing team principal, Fred Bertrand, as well as DS PENSKE’s Maximilian Gunther and Jaguar TCS Racing reserve driver, Stoffel Vandoorne.
The airhorn sounded at 8:30am sharp, commencing the fun and games. During the day, players were supported by professional golfers Mike Lorenzo-Vera and Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston. “The course is awesome,” said ‘Beef’ Johnston. “To drive up the mountain, it doesn't look like there's ever going to be a golf course here and then it turns out to be this lovely oasis.
“There's been a lot of good shots already. We've seen the nearest shot to the pin at six or seven feet already, and it's only been the third group. We’ve seen a birdie as well, so there's a lot of good players!”
As the round progressed, it became increasingly competitive. Jake Dennis helped his scorecard with a brilliant tee shot on the 12th hole, his pre-game preparation clearly paying off. But despite a close competition, the Andretti squad could only manage a 3rd place finish, pipped to the post by Aurora (2nd) and the influencer team, comprised of Seb Delanney, Emma Houlmiere, Mathilde Ostrowski and Maximilian Günther, who took home the winners trophy.
Alongside the Tee Prix event, Formula E is also proud to support the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco through its Better Futures Fund (BFF), aligned to the 2026 Monaco E-Prix. The Better Futures Fund is Formula E’s community impact platform, providing a generous contribution, in addition to Golf Day fundraising, alongside race-week engagement and global storytelling to support high-impact local initiatives.
This collaboration aligns the Foundation’s mission, focused on water safety, drowning prevention and youth education, with Formula E’s wider commitment to safety, youth empowerment and sustainable human progress.
