Citroën Racing announce Doriane Pin as GEN4 Development Driver

An exciting young talent, Doriane Pin will support the development of Citroën Racing's GEN4 package.

The young French racer has already achieved a lot in her racing career, including the 2022 Ferrari Challenge Europe title, a class win at the 2022 24 Hours of Spa and, most recently, the F1 Academy title in 2025.

Her new role with Citroën Racing will see Doriane support the team in the development and refinement of the team’s GEN4 package, helping to optimise performance, energy management systems, and software calibration ahead of next season. As such, the team have confirmed that the 22-year-old will have multiple opportunities to get behind-the-wheel of Formula E machinery in the coming months.

The news follows a strong run of form for the Citroën squad, who have already accomplished a race win, a pole position and multiple podiums in the first half of their debut season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Ahead of Rounds 9 & 10 in Monaco, Citroën Racing is currently 5th in the teams' championship on 83 points.

This year, Doriane is competing in the European Le Mans Series with Duqueine, alongside her duties as a Development Driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and Development Driver for Peugeot Sport Hypercar program.

Citroën Racing Development Driver, Doriane Pin, said: "I’m really looking forward to this new role and to joining this project. I’ve already started working on the GEN4 simulator with the team, which has been a great way of understanding the systems and the driving approach.

Just as importantly, having a talented young French driver join the team is a proud moment for all of us.”
