Mitch Evans
"I’m feeling good. We had a clear strategy after FP3 with what we wanted to do with qualifying, the tires, the approach in the race because I was kind of guaranteed to start towards the back and it all went the way I was expecting or hoping for.

“It’s not easy to execute these races, but the timing of the ATTACK MODE was just spot on. So a real collective effort between me and my strategy team to get this type of race executed. But my one-lap pace is still not quite there, so I’ll keep working on that. Monaco’s very much a track-position type of track, so hopefully we can find something between now and then."
Oliver Rowland
“We’ve had a couple of tough races this year, but I think coming into this round we did a lot of work to try and improve over one lap, which we definitely did, so I’m really happy about that. We just need to keep this momentum going now, keep the confidence, stay in the hunt, it’s going to be tight all season.
"It was good fun to drive. The nice thing for me is when I went through, the pace was relatively quick, so I had to earn my overtakes, you know? It still wasn’t easy.”
Pascal Wehrlein
“It was a good day. I was very annoyed yesterday (Round 7) about the race and seeing the potential of what we had and what could have been, missing out on that annoyed me. But at the same time, I just tried to forget about it and reset and focus on today.
“There’s no better way than to start the day with a pole position and also in the race we did everything we could do with that podium. Mitch and Oli had a different strategy, they - I would say - skipped qualifying, saved the tires, and just ran at the back in the beginning and saved a lot of energy. Unfortunately, that’s Berlin, here you can do things like that and it works.
“I think we got the most out of it today and I’m happy to come back like that.”
Felipe Drugovich
“My pace in qualifying has been quite good, especially in the group qualifying. In two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive we’ve been struggling quite a bit as a team, so not sure what’s going on there, we need to analyse that a little bit.
“In the races, it’s always been a disaster this year and at least we managed to save some points today. All in all, I think I need to be happy with that, taking into consideration that not many people that started in the top 10 or in the top 7 finished up there, and this is a track that this happens in, you know? People from the back come to the front and from the front go to the back and we managed to survive a little bit there.
“So all in all, I think we need to be happy. There’s not much more I could have done, but hopefully this is just the start of a big scoring streak."
Zane Maloney
“Of course twice in the Duels (this weekend) P6 and P7, so very satisfied with that from my side. I think the team is doing a great job in pure performance and we’re showing it on the timing sheets as well. I’m quite confident that we can keep getting in the Duels and that’s a motivating feeling. The next step, of course, is trying to become more efficient and better in the race.
“I feel like I’m ready to be fighting at the front. I think I’ve developed a lot as a driver in the last year and a half, and I know I’m confident in the pace that I have as a driver as well. It obviously felt a bit weird to be leading a Formula E race, but I’m ready to lead more.”
