TRACK MAP: What does the Berlin E-Prix circuit look like?

Remind yourself about the Tempelhof Street Circuit ahead of the 2026 Hankook Berlin E-Prix, Rounds 7 & 8.

berlin-circuit-map (1)

The Berlin Tempelhof Street Circuit has seen many configurations over the years. Forwards, backwards, you name it, we’ve probably seen it. The iconic venue is back for another double-header event this weekend, so here’s all you need to know about the track.

Comprising 15 turns and 2.374km in length, the circuit is well-known by most of our grid as it has hosted over 20 E-Prix since it was first seen on the schedule in the 2014/15 season.

Tough track surface

Made up of repeating concrete slabs, this surface was designed for planes rather than a field of all-electric single-seaters! We're talking about highly abrasive conditions and a lot of work for the teams, dealing tyre wear especially with hot temperatures forecast. It offers a completely different "feel" compared to any other track on the calendar.

MEET THE GRID: Which drivers are racing in Formula E in 2025/26?

Overtaking opportunities

Ahead of Season 10, the track layout was tweaked to suit the faster, more powerful cars. This improved layout also means drivers will have to juggle more technical elements, faster racing, and their energy management even more closely. The 2.374km design is a mix of high-speed flowing sections and very tight, technical hairpins.

Overall, it's always an action-packed watch with plenty of passing opportunities as the drivers weave their way around this wider circuit, leading to brilliant racing where cars go three or four wide into braking zones!

PREVIEW: Berlin is back as Formula E returns for Rounds 7 and 8

Turns 1 and 2 offer a great chance for a pass after the long start-finish straight, as well as the hairpins at Turn 6 or Turn 9. So many possibilities.

ATTACK MODE

The popular ATTACK MODE will be located at Turn 2 in Berlin, and gives drivers an extra boost to put them at full 350kW power with all-wheel drive.

PIT BOOST: Everything you must know about Formula E's battery boosting pit stops

During PIT BOOST races, such as Saturday’s, drivers will only have one activation for six minutes, but come Sunday the grid will have two activations that reach a combined time of eight minutes.
