There are plenty of storylines as we head into the Round 6 and the 2026 CUPRA Raval Madrid E-Prix, including Jake Dennis locking in a long-term future to Andretti and the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The Season 9 Champ has been racing in Formula E since the 2021 Diriyah E-Prix, and during that time banked an impressive seven victories. His most recent was at the start of this season, converting Julius Baer Pole Position into the win at the 2025 São Paulo E-Prix. Since then he’s scored in every race but one, with a puncture ending podium hopes after starting P2 last time out in Jeddah.

Dennis’ multi-year contract extension will see the Brit continue at the team way into the GEN4 era which kickstarts from next season.
“Honestly, it was a pretty easy decision in the end,” Dennis detailed during media day in Madrid. “We had multiple options on the cards, but yeah, from our side, but it was always Andretti. That was the priority and we managed to come to an agreement with the multi-year deal, so everything we're aligned with and where our future goals are.
“It's obvious we want to try and get us back to the top. I'm just excited to obviously continue inside Formula E as well. The GEN4 car coming sounds super promising and exciting, and the championship's pushing itself to new levels with trying to make the calendar longer, more exciting locations and I think Formula E is in a great place right now.
“I am happy to continue doing that, and racing with Andretti as well.”

Despite being in a new venue, with the exciting 3.934km Jarama circuit ready to put on a show this weekend, Dennis has great memories from racing in Spain.
It only took Dennis six races from his debut to take his first win, managing an energy-management masterclass in Valencia to win from lights-to-flag.
“I'm just excited to start racing again,” he said before the 2026 CUPRA Raval Madrid E-Prix, which gets underway Saturday 21 March. “It's coming into a bit of a busy period for myself in terms of Red Bull Formula 1 work, BMW work, and then also Formula E.
“We've had some good memories in Valencia. The first race I won the and the points for pole– it would be great if I could do it all again!”
