Alejandro Agag is the visionary Co-Founder & Chairman of the first all-electric motor racing World Championship, Formula E.
Since founding the series in 2011 with an idea penned on the back of a napkin, Alejandro has steered it to become the fastest growing motorsport in the world and widely regarded as the game-changing sport of the future.
He has continued to innovate in electric motorsport first with the creation of Extreme E in 2019 and his latest venture: the all-electric powerboat championship, E1. The off-road electric racing series Extreme E highlights the devastating impacts of climate change in remote corners of the world while E1 launched in 2020 focusing on marine conservation. Both endeavours, like Formula E, are aimed at advancing the development of cutting-edge electric technology and sustainability.
Alejandro also currently serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Planet First Partners, an impact investment fund focusing on sustainability transition.
Prior to Formula E, Alejandro worked in football at Queens Park Rangers in addition to experience drawn from across the GP2 motorsport championship - revamping the Campos outfit into the successful Barwa Addax Team – and investing in Formula 1 TV rights in Spain.
Before entering the world of sport Alejandro worked in politics, becoming Spain’s youngest representative in the European Parliament at the age of 28. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Jeff Dodds is the Chief Executive Officer of Formula E – the first FIA-sanctioned electric world championship and the world’s first net zero carbon sport since inception.
Prior to joining Formula E in June 2023, Jeff served as the Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media O2 since its creation in June 2021 and before that at Virgin Media from 2019. In addition to his role at Virgin Media O2, Jeff lived and worked in the Netherlands as the CEO of the telecoms business Tele2 and has also held executive roles at Callaway Golf, Honda, and Volvo.
Jeff currently sits on the board of the disability equality organization, The Valuable 500, and is a Non-Executive Director for the UK Government at the Department of Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities.
Jeff holds an MBA and an MSc in International Marketing and received an honorary Doctorate in Business from Bournemouth University last year.
Alberto Longo is the Co-Founder & Chief Championship Officer of Formula E.
Before co-founding the first all-electric motorsport World Championship back in 2011, Alberto was the Team Principal of the motor racing Barwa Addax Team, which saw a successful revamp under his leadership.
He initially purchased the team under the name of Campos Racing GP2 Team with current Formula E Co-Founder & Chairman, Alejandro Agag. Alberto’s first experience in motorsport came in the early 2000s when he began purchasing and commercializing Formula 1 TV rights in Spain alongside Alejandro.
Alberto started his career initially as an investment advisor for Santander Private Bank for five years in multiple locations around the world, followed by more than a decade working in law.
A seasoned professional with 25 years of extensive experience in the media and sports industry, encompassing roles across agencies, broadcasters, governing bodies, and rights holders. Her career is distinguished by her commitment to leveraging the sports industry to drive sustainable commercial growth, engage a diverse fan base, and enact positive societal change.
Currently serving as Formula E's Chief Media Officer, Aarti spearheads the organization's media partnerships and distribution strategies, content across all platforms, digital product development, and broadcast coverage, all aimed at growing fans and enhancing engagement for the championship. Her expertise includes a profound knowledge of audience growth and revenue enhancement through strategic media rights management, content and product development, and innovative brand and content partnerships. Aarti’s approach is characterized by her reliance on data insights and industry knowledge to guide decision-making and her capability in building and nurturing stakeholder relationships, alongside leading diverse, high-performing teams.
Aarti is known within the sports and media industry for her engaging and empathetic leadership style. Her career includes over a decade at the International Cricket Council, with other significant roles at Ten Sports and IMG Media/TWI.
Originally from India, Aarti started in sports broadcasting in 1999 with IMG TWI in Delhi. She now spends her time between London, Dubai, and Formula E’s exciting race locations around the world.
Tiziana Di Gioia brings extensive international experience and strategic acumen to her role as Chief Revenue Officer at Formula E.
Her journey in motorsport began at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (now Stellantis Group), where she held roles culminating in her tenure as Global Head of Fiat Brand Sponsorship until December 2011. Her work included prestigious projects such as the Winter Olympic Games and Valentino Rossi Yamaha Moto GP title sponsorship.
Venturing onto the international stage, Tiziana served as Head of Sports Marketing, EMEA for The North Face-VF Corporation in Lugano, Switzerland, and later as Global Head of Sports Marketing for La Martina Sagl.
Continuing her career, she assumed the role of Director, Sports Marketing EMEA, for Under Armour in Amsterdam from 2017 to 2020, leading brand sponsorships and marketing activations with figures such as Anthony Joshua and the Welsh Rugby Union.
Returning to Italy, Tiziana joined Ferrari as Director, Head of Global Partnership Revenues & Marketing, overseeing Formula 1 and other Ferrari sports platforms. She then became Chief Commercial Officer at Juventus FC, leading the global team responsible for all commercial revenues, including sponsorships, stadium, licensing, and broadcasters.
Enrique Buenaventura has been the Chief Legal & Business Affairs Officer of Formula E, since 2012.
As part of the founding team of Formula E, he has overseen much of the championship’s growth and all commercial deals to date, leading the Legal Department and acting as Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Holding Company.
Enrique’s career in motorsport started in 2011 when he joined HRT Formula 1 Team as General Counsel and Senior Executive, responsible for all legal affairs of the company.
Earlier in his career, Enrique specialised in the media and communications industry, serving as Legal Counsel in the commercial and contractual legal team at Vodafone España for almost a decade, including almost two years at Vodafone Group HQ in the UK focusing on legal affairs concerning intellectual property, sponsorship, advertising, and media.
Mike Papadimitriou has been the Chief Financial Officer of Formula E since 2015.
Prior to joining the fastest-growing motorsport series in the world, Mike worked for more than seven years at Discovery Networks International with increasing levels of responsibility before finishing as Interim MD Radio and GM Finland.
Before Mike joined Discovery Networks International, he served as an Engagement Manager at Spectrum Strategy Consultants and as a Strategy Analyst at the consultancy firm Accenture.
Julia Pallé is a leading expert on sustainability in motorsport and the international elite sport industry.
In her role at the world’s first all-electric motor racing series, Julia certified the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship net zero carbon since inception – the first sport in the world to achieve the standard.
While developing and implementing the sustainability strategy at Formula E, Julia has overseen a range of significant achievements that establish Formula E’s credentials as a leader of sustainability in tier-one sport.
Julia is also Sustainability Advisor for Extreme E, the all-electric SUVs series, bringing electric racing to some of the most remote corners of the planet to highlight the climate change challenges faced by different ecosystems.
Before joining Formula E, Julia was the Sustainability Executive at Michelin Motorsport.
