After completing the first three races of the 2018/19 season of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship with American team Geox Dragon, Max Gunther will return, replacing Felipe Nasr for the 2019 Geox Rome E-Prix on April 13.
Making his debut in Formula E during the season opener in Saudi Arabia, Gunther continued to race for the team until Round Three in Santiago, after which he was replaced by Brazilian Felipe Nasr in the number six car.
Due to racing commitments outside of Formula E, Nasr will miss the race in Rome, handing his seat to Gunther before returning for the Paris E-Prix on April 27.
The Geox Dragon team currently sits at the bottom of the standings with just two points, 95 points off championship leaders Envision Virgin Racing.
With the team's main sponsor Geox taking the title sponsorship of the Rome race, the American Formula E outfit will be looking to make an impact as the first race of the voestalpine European races kicks off on April 13.
