Recycled clothing leads the way in Formula E

Recycled clothing leads the way in Formula E

It’s not just through all-electric racing cars in which Formula E is pioneering a new sustainable agenda, as a ground-breaking fashion show in Berlin demonstrated.

Bringing together the worlds of style and sustainability, along with Felder Felder, Formula E and our partners BMW and TAG Heuer presented the Recycled Race Collection. This collection was made solely from repurposed racing garments and objects, transforming the unwanted into the desirable.

Taking place at the trendy Sage Restaurant and Terrace in Berlin, items in the show included a draped dress upcycled from Formula E’s racing flags and a playsuit that began life as a Formula E racing overall.

Also on display were some stunning, fully sustainable shoes from NAK fashion, which are made from micro-fibres and are suitable for vegan and vegetarian fashionistas.
