Jaguar celebrates Sao Paulo E-Prix win in Formula E

"And we go green!"

It was a case of not knowing where to look once the lights went out, and in true Formula E fashion it was a wild ride from the start! FOUR WIDE!

A different kind of flying lap...

The 2.933km street circuit certainly provided drivers with some interesting track surfaces to navigate! From bumps to different types of concrete, they were some of the more unusual track conditions the grid has had to deal with in recent races.

Making moves up the grid

Several drivers put in stellar performances during the Brazilian race, but the TAG Heuer Porsche of Pascal Wehrlein definitely stands out. Making up 11 places during the race, the championship leader finished in seventh but kept fans amazed as he fought his way through the pack - he also won Driver of the Day for his efforts!

The Jaguar TCS Racing of Sam Bird is also worth motioning for his efforts as he clambered from 10th to third!

Five non-finishers

Some races were over in a flash, including that of Nissan’s Norman Nato who was out of the race on lap one in dramatic fashion. After getting some serious air in a collision that almost saw him wipe out the NEOM McLaren duo, he was later joined by his teammate to watch the race from the sidelines.

The biggest driver to DNF was Avalanche Andretti’s Jake Dennis, who was hit by the NIO 333 of Dan Ticktum, but still holds second place in the Drivers’ World Championship.
