DS PENSKE took the covers off its black and gold GEN3 Evo racer - the DS E-TENSE FE25 - last week and today announces its full driver line-up for the Women’s Test during pre-season testing for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain on 7 November.
Born out of a motorsport family and having raced in karts since 2010, British driver Jessica Edgar stepped up to newly launched GB4 Championship in 2022 for her first full season of a single-seater racing, claiming a podium at Outlon Park. In 2023, Edgar joined the grid for the inaugural season of the F1 Academy, and a year later she took pole position and a victory at the Circuit of the Americas in the USA.

"I am grateful for the fantastic opportunity from DS PENSKE to participate in the Valencia Women's Test," says 19-year-old Edgar. "It’s a super exciting thought to drive a Formula E car and of course the fact it’s the new GEN3 Evo makes it even more special. I will give it my all!"
Driving alongside Edgar is Beitske Visser, who is currently racing in sportscars and endurance. The Dutch driver began karting as early as five years old and has since gone on to compete in FIA Formula 4, Formula Renault 3.5 and W Series, where she finished in second place in both 2019 and 2022.
"I'm really excited to be part of the first Women's Test in Valencia with the DS PENSKE Formula E Team," adds 29-year-old Visser. "I have always been interested in Formula E and can’t wait to be behind the wheels of the new DS E-TENSE FE25, it is going to be a great experience I' am sure of it and I really look forward to it!"
DS' Deputy Team Principal Phil Charles said: "With Jessica and Beitske behind the wheel of the DS E-TENSE FE25, our team has two extremely talented drivers signed on for the Women’s Test.
"We have seen both in action in the simulator at our factory and I am really pleased we are able to give them an opportunity to demonstrate their considerable pace and ability in the Formula E car. I am also sure we will get some good test results for the team as well."
