Five years away from China, Formula E returns to the country where it all started a decade ago. That inaugural race was in Beijing, and there have been visits to Hong Kong and Sanya since then as the all-electric series visits a new location in China with the first Shanghai E-Prix around the memorable Shanghai International Circuit.
Schedule for Rounds 11 and 12, the 2024 Shanghai E-Prix
The 2024 Shanghai E-Prix gets underway on Friday 24 May with Free Practice 1 at 17:00 local time.
Track action for the first day of the double-header starts on Saturday 25 May with Free Practice 2 at 08:00 local. Qualifying follows at 10:40 local time with lights out for Round 9 scheduled at 15:00 local/13:00 UTC.
Following this, Sunday’s action starts with Free Practice 3 at 08:00, followed by Round 10 qualifying and race at 10:20 and 15:00 local time respectively.

Where to watch and stream Formula E in the Americas
Canada: In Canada, TVA Sports will show delayed race coverage on Saturday and Sunday. Qualifying and races will be shown live on TSN + in French and English, respectively.
USA: All race sessions will be shown live on Roku. Highlights will be shown on CBS Sports Network.
Mexico: Fans can watch both races action on Fox Sports 3, Claro Sports and Azteca Deportes.
Claro Sports will be providing dedicated coverage of the whole race weekend across Latin America with support from DirecTV in select markets.
