Since joining Formula E in Season 2, DS Automobiles quickly became one of the successful manufacturers in the all-electric series.
With a list of drivers including Sam Bird, Jean-Eric Vergne, Andre Lotterer, Antonio Felix da Costa and Stoffel Vandoorne, the French marque has amassed an impressive collection of stats with 16 victories, 47 podiums and 22 poles - adding to the back-to-back Drivers' and Teams' titles with the help of Vergne and da Costa in Seasons 5 and 6.
To celebrate hitting 100 races at Round 11 in Jakarta, the DS E-TENSE FE23s piloted by the DS PENSKE drivers of reigning champion Vandoorne and double champion Vergne will sport a special livery with the century milestone emblazoned on the GEN3 machine. As part of the Frenchman's role as an ambassador to the manufacturer, Vergne will also run a new helmet design in Jakarta to congratulate DS.
“We'll be experiencing a historic and moving moment for all of us in Jakarta," said DS Performance director, Eugenio Franzetti. "First of all, I’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has contributed with such passion and talent to this extraordinary event. Celebrating 100 races in Formula E is truly a milestone, and to do so with the sort of track record that we have accumulated is a source of great pride."
