Stoffel Vandoorne led home a stunning 1-2 for Mercedes-Benz EQ in Round 11 of the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship for his first win in the series, with team-mate Nyck de Vries following second, ahead of Sebastien Buemi (Nissan e.dams) in third.

RACE RECAP: Berlin E-Prix Round 11

The result meant Vandoorne sealed second in the Drivers’ standings behind champion Antonio Felix da Costa, following de Vries’ late move on previous incumbent Buemi with just two laps remaining.

The pair produced the goods right at the last to secure third and domestic bragging rights in the Teams' Championship, too - seeing off German rivals BMW i Andretti Motorsport, TAG Heuer Porsche and Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler.

After the chequered flag fell, we asked you to send the Belgian your questions, you did just that and he duly  answered.

As his team quite rightly pointed out post-race, Vandoorne was simply unstoppable on the final race-day of the season at Berlin's New Tempelhof Airport Circuit. He led from pole to the chequered flag to get his hands, albeit briefly, on the winners' Moet & Chandon champagne. None of us are perfect Stoffel!
