Norman Nato

In the initial seven laps, Nato's energy usage banked him around 3% more energy compared to what would normally be expected, an excess he had spent entirely by lap 15 – by which point he had gone from as low as 21st to well inside the top 10.

Portland International Raceway

The permanent circuit is a familiar stop for American motorsport series such as Indycar, and the layout has a history of providing some close battles. In 1997, the premier American single-seater series saw the closest three-way finish on a road course as Mark Blundell bested Gil de Ferran and Raul Boesel by half a tenth.

It was more of the same as Formula E made its debut here last season, fast paced duels right to the chequered flag with a record number of overtakes around this flowing circuit.
