- Oliver Rowland has the largest ever championship lead in Formula E history (77 points). The biggest gap in Season 10 was at the Shanghai E-Prix (when Nick Cassidy led by 25 points)

- Mitch Evans won race one in Shanghai on the last lap, overtaking Wehrlein into Turn 1 – the only final lap winning move in Jaguar TCS Racing history

- Two Chinese drivers have raced in Formula E: Ho Ping Tung and Ma Qing Hua

- Across last season’s two races there were 17 lead changes, and eight different drivers led a lap

- Hughes took pole by just 0.001 seconds here last year, equalling the closest ever margin (race one, Berlin, Season 3)

- The fastest laps of the weekend for the 11 teams were split by just 0.315 seconds here last year

- In five Chinese E-Prix, di Grassi is the highest scoring (44 points), ahead of Vergne (43) and da Costa (40)

- The Shanghai double-header will be the first to take place across two different months, with the first race taking place on 31 May and the second race on the 1 June

- In race one last season Nick Cassidy claimed his fifth podium in a row (only one of four drivers to have five consecutive podiums)

- Also in race one, Sam Bird went from 19th on the grid to 11th on the first lap, gaining eight positions (no other driver managed to gain more than eight positions on any Lap 1 across last season)

- Across last season’s two races there were 17 lead changes, and eight different drivers led a lap

- Race one in Shanghai last season was the first of three consecutive wins for Antonio Felix da Costa in Formula E (where he would become the first driver to claim a hat-trick of wins twice)

- In the second race last season, Norman Nato claimed a third-place finish (his only podium of the season). Each of Nato’s three podiums in Formula E have been with a different team

- In the second race Jake Hughes also claimed his maiden Formula E podium in his 27th race start

- The double-header in Shanghai was the only one last season where no driver managed to claim a podium in both races

- Last season, Andretti drivers claimed the fastest lap in both races in Shanghai (one of a record equalling six fastest laps they secured in the season)

- Sacha Fenestraz (race one) and Robin Frijns (race two) both managed to gain 11 places here (the record for a single race in China)

- The drivers starting in third on the grid and eighth on the grid have always finished in the points in China

- The polesitter has only won once in China, but in all five races in the country the winner has come from the top three positions on the grid

In 2014, Formula E broke onto the racing scene with a historic first race in Beijing. Since then, the all-electric series has raced in four locations across China, with races in Hong Kong, Sanya, and Shanghai joining the calendar. The racing action in 2025 will take place 31th May & 1st June.
