STANDINGS: Formula E's Drivers', Teams' and Manufacturers points after Round 1 of 2024/25 in São Paulo, Brazil

Fresh off the back of São Paulo, here's Formula E's current points standings as we leave 2024 behind and head into Round 2 and Mexico City on 11 January 2025.

There was a lot of change going into São Paulo. New teams, new drivers, and a whole new car. The GEN3 Evo got its race weekend debut in Brazil, and delivered us an all-time classic E-Prix with Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans going from last to win – a first in Formula E.

A strong weekend for him, for Jaguar - despite Nick Cassidy's late coming-together with reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein - and for Porsche despite that same shunt for the German. Mahindra Racing and NEOM McLaren will be more than happy with their opening efforts in Season 11, too.

Here's a full look at who's on top and who has work to do heading to Mexico City for Round 2 on 11 January 2025 - the next stop on the Season 11 calendar.

Drivers' World Championship

Evans heads the way after that stunning drive from P22 and the very back of the field following a technical fault in qualifying. No driver had ever climbed to top spot on the podium from lower than 15th on the grid (Lucas di Grassi back in Mexico City, 2017) but Evans made use of the new four-wheel drive enabled ATTACK MODE in the best possible way to aid his battle through the pack.

Second spot for Porsche's Antonio Felix da Costa was strong, too. Wehrlein would have been up there were it not for that crash late on - so the Stuttgart team will be pleased with its start to the GEN3 Evo era, all things considered.

Taylor Barnard topped off a super day for McLaren, with the team clambering through from the back end of the grid to P3 and P4, with Barnard's teammate Sam Bird following the youngster home - who became the youngest ever podium winner in Formula E history.

Teams' and Manufacturers' World Championship

Those heroics from Barnard and Bird see NEOM McLaren atop the Teams' running - following on nicely from their return to the top of the F1 pile as McLaren won the Formula 1 Constructors' World Championship for the first time since 1999 with their result over the weekend at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Jaguar and Porsche follow in close company, and Mahindra Racing sit fourth after a storming points double in Brazil - a very positive upturn in performance as the Anglo-Indian outfit kicks off GEN3 Evo.

Jaguar tops the new Manufacturers' World Championship, as the title incumbents. The honour was introduced in Season 10 as the Manufacturers' Trophy but gains full FIA World Championship status for 2024/25.
