RACING_STATS_FACTS_SLIDER_web_01

- The last two races in Brazil have seen 17 lead changes

- No driver has started from pole position in a season opener twice. Race 1 has had a different polesitter in all 10 seasons

PREVIEW: Everything you need to know about the São Paulo E-Prix

- This includes Sam Bird’s last lap move on Mitch Evans last season – one of nine races, three in Season 10 alone, where the decisive overtake happened on the last lap

- Only British and New Zealand drivers have finished on the podium in São Paulo. Sam Bird and Mitch Evans have two podiums each

- Home hero di Grassi – the Season 3 champ - will be the only Brazilian driver on the grid in Season 11. Sergio Sette Camara is back but as reserve for Nissan

- Di Grassi will be just the seventh driver to have raced in Formula E aged 40 or above when Season 11 begins

- He also has the best finish for a Brazilian driver on home soil, having finished in 13th position in both home races

- Pascal Wehrlein took pole last season by just 0.002s - the third-closest pole margin in Formula E history

- The average winning margin in the two previous races in São Paulo is just 0.424s

 - Stoffel Vandoorne has started on the front row in both races in São Paulo (only in Berlin has Vandoorne achieved more front row starts)

- The Safety Car has been deployed on Lap 16 for both previous races in Brazil

RACING_STATS_FACTS_SLIDER_web_03

- Last season, Max Gunther scored points having started from 22nd position on the grid. There have been 14 times in Formula E where the driver starting 22nd on the grid finished in the top 10 (more than 10% of all races)

- None of the drivers to have started on the front row in Brazil have reached the podium in the country

- On the contrary, the driver finishing in third place has come from outside the top nine on the grid in both Brazilian races

- Pascal Wehrlein has finished every race since the Season 9 São Paulo E-Prix (27 races in a row)

- If the reigning champion finishes the next race in Brazil, he will have the second longest finishing streak in Formula E history (and only three behind the record held by Robin Frijns)

- Each season has seen a different team claim the fastest lap in the season opener. The only teams on the grid who have not claimed a season opener fastest lap are Porsche, Nissan, McLaren, Maserati and Kiro
