PiPA aims to empower underserved communities and tackle inequality by creating educational, socio-emotional, and technological opportunities for children and adolescents in socially vulnerable situations. They provide critical skills for the future to promote social inclusion.
The Better Futures Fund is a cornerstone of Formula E’s Formula Equity social impact strategy, which is dedicated to addressing social inequalities and fostering diverse communities in host cities worldwide.
Julia Pallé, VP of Sustainability, Formula E said:
“We’re thrilled to make the first donation of the Better Futures Fund for Season 11 to Associação PiPA in São Paulo that not only supports children and adolescents, but helps nurture their education and development in the process.
Education is one of the key building blocks to strong, resilient and progressive societies so starting with younger generations gives any community a robust foundation on which to build. They will be the changemakers of tomorrow, so as a sustainable championship want to do everything possible to leave a positive and lasting legacy in São Paulo.”
