FACTS AND STATS: Formula E's Jakarta E-Prix in numbers

German starring roles, 75-year old records broken and who's scored the most points since Formula E's first visit to Indonesia? Here's the Jakarta E-Prix in numbers.

Jakarta skyline

- Formula E returns to Jakarta for the first time since Season 9 and the third time in our history

- Maximilian Guenther scored both poles in the 2022/23 double-header – one of just 10 drivers to manage that feat

2022 Jakarta E-Prix Round 9 Highlights

- His win in 2023 was Maserati’s first in world single-seater motorsport since 1957

- German drivers are the most successful in Jakarta, with two wins (Guenther, Wehrlein)

- Since the first visit to Jakarta, both Jaguar’s Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy have scored 485 points (only Jake Dennis on 497 has scored more)

- Talking of the Jaguars, Evans and Bird had that famous teammate clash in Jakarta Season 9…

- After each race in Jakarta the gap at the top of the Driver’s Championship has been five points or less. However, with Oliver Rowland’s current lead of 68 points this record will end this weekend

- Each race in Jakarta has seen exactly two German drivers score points

- Both races in Jakarta in Season 9 saw the same front row (Jake Dennis and Max Gunther). Berlin Season 6 and Puebla Season 7 are the only other double-headers to have had the same front row

- Since the first visit to Jakarta, both Jaguar teammates of Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy have scored 485 points (with only Jake Dennis on 497 having scored more)

- All three pole positions in Jakarta have been claimed by a pole margin by over 0.3 seconds

- In the opening race in Jakarta in Season 9, Jake Hughes went from 20th on the grid to finish in 10th, which is the most positions gained in a race in Jakarta (and the only time Hughes has gained 10 places in a single race)

- Hughes' 20th place start is the lowest grid position that points have been scored from in Jakarta

- Jake Dennis, Mitch Evans, Nick Cassidy and Pascal Wehrlein are the only drivers to have out qualified their teammates in all three Jakarta races

- Stoffel Vandoorne, Pascal Wehrlein, Edoardo Mortara and Jake Dennis have reached the Duels in all three races in Jakarta

- The most recent race in Jakarta (Race 2 Season 9) saw two drivers fail to start the race (Sam Bird and Sergio Sette Camara). Only one other race (Cape Town Season 9) has had at least two drivers fail to start the race

FRR THUMB R10 JAKARTA

- There has only been one Safety Car across the three races in Jakarta, which was on Lap 2 and Lap 3 in the race in Season 8 (due to Oliver Rowland losing a wheel). Therefore, there have been 111 consecutive laps without a Safety Car in Jakarta

- Lucas di Grassi is the only driver to have finished above where he started in all three races in Jakarta

- Five drivers have finished in the top 10 in all three Jakarta races: Jake Dennis, Pascal Wehrlein, Antonio Felix da Costa, Stoffel Vandoorne and Edoardo Mortara

- Edoardo Mortara is currently on 498 points and just two points away from being the 13th Formula E driver to reach 500 points. The Season 8 Jakarta E-Prix saw Antonio Felix da Costa score his 500th point
