The 26-year-old YouTuber - the most watched on the planet, with some 370 million followers - is at the Miami International Autodrome with Formula E this week, as Formula E hosts some of the world's most followed stars at its Evo Sessions event.
MrBeast - real name James 'Jimmy' Donaldson - set off for his first outing in the GEN3 Evo race car behind the Porsche Taycan Safety Car to get a feel for the Miami circuit and the world's fastest accelerating single-seater - capable of outdragging an F1 car to 60mph by some 30 percent, in a time of just 1.82 seconds.

Lap one went smoothly, but Mr Beast found himself spinning and in the wall through the first corners of his second lap. He wasn't hurt in the shunt, and was able to jump out of the car unaided when the medical car arrived on the scene.
Damage to the CUPRA KIRO GEN3 Evo race car - usually driven by German David Beckmann - looked to be limited but the session was halted for the car to be recovered to the pits.
MrBeast's initial outing was effectively guided tour of the track, as had been the case with the other personalities' opening efforts in Miami this week. Following the Safety Car meant the pace was limited so he could get used to the car and his surroundings but even so, its capabilities proved a little too hot to handle as out of a left hander in Sector 1, he span into a full 360, before clipping the wall with the left side of the car.
The team watched on, with driver Dan Ticktum cracking a smile after a little wince. Both the team and MrBeast joked and laughed about the shunt once he made it back to the garage with a sheepish "I did the thing..." as a nod to his foul up.
