This weekend, Formula E returns to the Sunshine State for the 2026 Miami E-Prix, held at the Miami International Autodrome.
Miami and Formula E have history though, Miami was also the host of the first E-Prix in the USA with a temporary circuit around Biscayne Bay, with the city skyline providing a fantastic backdrop. However, Formula E was very different back then in our first season which saw pitstops and car changeovers.
One thing that was the same was an action-packed race. Nicolas Prost won his first E-Prix taking the lead in the final laps from Daniel Abt who finished third at the flag. But notably, the race nearly saw a home winner as American Scott Speed claimed second, just 0.433s behind winner Prost.
