Formula E returned to the streets of São Paulo to kick off Season 11 on 7 December, 2024. At the Sambadrome, fans saw the faster, stronger and more sustainable GEN3 Evo, marking the first time that Brazil has hosted the Formula E season-opener.

Jaguar podium clean-sweep in São Paulo

Mitch Evans completed an all-Jaguar takeover of the podium for the inaugural race in São Paulo, leading home Nick Cassidy in the Jaguar-powered Envision Racing machine and former Jaguar TCS Racing driver Sam Bird rounding out the podium.

GEN3 EVO

Leveraging a roster of innovative technical upgrades, the GEN3 Evo unveiled at H.S.H Prince Albert II’s Private Car Collection will debut in Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Developed by specialists from Formula E and the FIA, the latest GEN3 Evo edition marks a significant leap in electric racing technology, with acceleration 0-60mph 30% faster than a current F1 car, and 36% faster than the GEN3 car.

Join us for the Formula E Autograph Session in the pit lane!

The Autograph Session will take place between 11:30 - 12:00 with wristband collection for ticket holders available from 07:00 - 11:30.

Only fans with reserved session tickets can collect a wristband, which must be done prior to the session.

Last entry is at 11:40 and if you arrive after this time you will not be able to participate in the session.

Qualifying - Get ready for an intense multi-phase shootout where drivers compete in knockout-style duels format for the fastest, culminating in a head-to-head battle to determine the pole position for the race.

Workshops in North Fan Village - Check out North Fan Village for Capoeira, Brazilian Dance and Carnival Drumming workshops.

Drivers Parade - Celebrate the kick-off of Season 11 and see your favourite drivers up close before the race begins.

Round 1 - 2024 Sao Paulo E-Prix - It’s lights out at the 2024 Sao Paulo E-Prix!

Podium Ceremony - Celebrate with fans and the teams as the top three drivers are crowned. More music performances will follow the podium ceremony.
