Ushering in a new era of electric racing as all 22 Gen2 cars and drivers take to the track for the first race of the season, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will open to the world like never before as it launches a dedicated online visa process for international tourists.
Fans will be able to apply via the newly-created ‘Sharek’ platform, using an authorised ticket to permit entry to Saudi Arabia. The system will be implemented for the first time as the country gears up for the spectacle of Formula E - marking the introduction of easy application and verification for foreign travellers.
So, what about the track? Racing in the ancient surroundings of Ad Diriyah, all 22 Gen2 cars and drivers will take to the 2.495km track to battle for the first victory of the season (subject to FIA homologation). With 21 twists and turns, the drivers will skirt the historic town walls before heading back towards the start/finish line in the heart of the district. Join us to find who will emerge victorious.
