Maintaining our position as not only the fastest growing motorsport on the planet, but the number one ESG sport in the world, we continue to take the series to new heights and maximise its potential for our fans and partners around the world. Max is an exceptional talent and his role will be integral in the planning and delivery of our long-term strategy as we look to build on the strong momentum from the last few seasons.
“I also want to thank Mike for his personal support to me and his enormous contribution to the series, supporting its growth and commercial development for nearly a decade. He can take huge pride in what the championship has achieved and is and always will be an important part of the Formula E story.”
Max Adkins, said: “I am thrilled to start at Formula E and continue to build my career within the Liberty Global family. Watching from afar it has been a series I have known and admired for a while, so am delighted to join as it continues to make waves in global sport. Mike Papadimitriou, Chief Financial Officer, Formula E said: "I am incredibly proud and privileged to have been part of the Formula E journey over the last decade. The sport today is delivering on the grand ambitions that were set in place right at its inception.
"To think that, after over 130 races, we've amassed almost 400m fans from nothing is a great achievement with everyone, past and present, having played their part. I leave the series in the more-than-capable hands of Max and am confident that with Jeff's bold leadership and our superb management team the series will go from strength to strength."
