Following NIO Formula E Team's frontman Oliver Turvey's impact with the wall during Free Practice ahead of Saturday's race, the British driver will not be taking part in the final round of the season due to a wrist injury.
In a statement issued by the team yesterday, it was announced that "Turvey has sustained a fracture in his fifth metacarpal (little finger) on his left hand as a result of the incident during the second practice session." As a result, NIO Formula E Team Reserve Driver, Ma Qinghua will take Turvey's place in the season finale on Brooklyn's waterfront later today.
