Fans of new TECHEETAH Formula E driver Esteban Gutierrez can now buy race tickets for the special ‘Gutierrez Grandstand’ on a 2-for-1 offer.
The ‘Gutierrez Grandstand’ is a designated viewing area at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, where fans will be able to gather together to show their support for the home hero – the only Mexican driver on the grid.
The ex-Haas and Sauber F1 racer, made his first official appearance as a TECHEETAH driver today in Mexico City, where the ‘Gutierrez Grandstand’ at the 2017 FIA Formula E Julius Baer Mexico City ePrix on April 1, was officially launched.
Gutierrez also confirmed that he will get his first chance behind the wheel of a fully-electric Formula E car this Sunday, March 26 in a road show at the Paseo de la Reforma. The street demonstration will start at 11am and will be followed by a fan meet-and-greet with the 25 year old.
“I’m entirely committed to the Formula E series,” he said. “All this is new to me and comes as an amazing challenge. It is an electric car and I am excited to start this new adventure. Running in Mexico is always special and fills me with a lot of excitement. Being ambassador of the category is a very positive situation”
