Bono Huis (Faraday Future Dragon Racing) ended the opening practice session for the Visa Vegas eRace at the top of the timesheets ahead of Felix Rosenqvist (Mahindra Racing) and Graham Carroll (DS Virgin Racing).
The 20 Formula E drivers and 10 sim racers got their first taste of the Las Vegas Strip circuit, with the sim racers quickly acclimatising to the streets of Las Vegas.
Graham Carroll (DS Virgin Racing) set the early pace but the times tumbled throughout the 30-minute session, with Huis leading the chasing pack by 0.502s.
The inaugural Visa Vegas eRace is taking place at The Venetian Hotel as part of Sports Business Innovation at 16:00 (PST) on the 50th edition of CES on Saturday.
