Prize breakdown revealed for Vegas eRace

The winner of the Vegas eRace will collect $200,000 in the richest prize fund in motor racing eSports history.

The event, which is taking place in Las Vegas during CES on January 7, 2017, pits all 20 FIA Formula E Championship drivers against the 10 qualifiers from the Road to Vegas Championship.

Second place will earn a cool $100k, with third bagging $50,000. The driver setting the first-ever pole position around the bespoke Las Vegas virtual street track will take away $25,000, while the fastest lap of the 50-minute race is worth an additional $10k.

The prizes aren’t just open to the 20 Formula E drivers who will be taking place, the 10 qualifiers from the Cloud Sport-run Road to Vegas championship will also be eligible, and with places 11-30 rewarded with $20,000 each, there are literally thousands of good reasons to get involved.
