eRace thrills crowd at Visa London ePrix

The final two eRace events, presented by Visa, took place in front of packed crowd over the Visa London ePrix weekend and once again gave fans the opportunity to head-to-head with the drivers.

Taking place in the Visa eSports Arena located in the eVillage, fans were given all morning to set the overall fastest time. The quickest racer was then invited to take part in a race against some of the best racing drivers in the world.

The start of Saturday’s race was typical of an eRace, with multiple drivers colliding and some even going airborne! It was a good start to the weekend for Renault e.Dams driver Sebastien Buemi who won in front of our fastest fan Battaglia, who dominated the race early on but was controversially spun into third place by Team Aguri driver Antonio Felix da Costa.

In a less chaotic race on Sunday, Daniel Abt took a dominant win in front of Jerome D’Ambrosio, just hours before they joined each other on the Formula E podium..
